Inspired

I posted a couple of days ago that I'm inspired by nature.  Here's some pictures I took last night.

I couldn't stop clicking!  The lilac bush in our backyard was definitely the place to be.  There were so many flitterings and flutterings I couldn't keep up.  I never did get a shot of the honey bee zipping in and out.  It's as if the insect community sent out an all-call, "sweet nectar on sale at the lilac bush! Hurry, Hurry, Hurry!"
I've heard other photographers describe how they see something and they have to get the shot no matter what.  The passion inside drives them to zone in at the task at hand and complete focus takes over.  I got a little taste of that last night.  I just wanted to stay there and click, click, click.  The sweet fragrance of lilac wafting through the air however, was overpowered by the green odor that slowly snuck its way up from a certain little ones diaper! "Doo-ty" called and I had to leave the lovely world of lilac lushness and take care of business.
Oh well, I got a few good shots in!  And once again I am inspired by nature.

  1. Beautiful shots! I know what you mean about not being to stop until you get the right shot. My boys call it "annoying". LOL I call it determination. :)
