Maddie remembers everything! As soon as she saw the wheel barrel she remembered when I took her for a ride one afternoon and wanted to go again!

I didn't know if I wanted to kick myself for ever starting the whole thing or celebrate that we made a memorable afternoon of fun. I decided on the latter after hearing Maddie's little laugh as she went bumping up and down ride after ride after ride after ride after ride...OK wait...what did I decide again?
Our goal for the afternoon was to plant asparagus. Kyle made a new raised bed and we went to the nursery to pick up the plants. We just had to dig out the area for the bed and plant them and be done. Easy Peasy.
Little did we know what was about to be uncovered...
This monster was laying right in our future asparagus bed! It took two hours of digging but somehow Kyle and I got it out.
We used our mighty muscles!
Needless to say, the asparagus didn't get planted yesterday, but will hopefully find its way to their new home soon!
